The Compass Collective

Located inside our Miranda Youth Centre, the COMPASS Collective is more than just a shop, it’s a space of dignity, choice, and care. Created by our peer workers, this beautifully curated room is filled with new and near-new clothes, shoes, accessories, and toiletries, all available at no cost to young people facing homelessness or disadvantage.

Designed to feel welcoming and empowering, the COMPASS Collective is strung with fairy lights, furnished with a full-length mirror, and set up just like any little boutique store, because everyone deserves to feel good about what they wear. Young people are invited to browse in private and fill a bag with the items they choose for themselves. It’s a simple act, but one that restores confidence, offers comfort, and reminds each young person that they matter.

Whether it’s a warm hoodie on a cold day, fresh toiletries for a job interview, or the perfect pair of jeans that just feel right, every visit to the COMPASS Collective is about more than things. It’s about self-worth, belonging, and hope.
