Café Social

Your local social enterprise café, where every order helps us create pathways out of homelessness for young people facing disadvantage.

Café Social provides safe and supported paid employment and work placement for young people who have barriers in accessing and remaining in the employment market. Project Youth and Café Social recognise that employment is a protective factor for the young people we serve and supports them to end cycles of disadvantage.

Café Social is supported by an industry lead, our Chef Robyn with over 20 years of experience, who mentors and teaches young people with hospitality skills to enter employment. Youth support workers provide young people with skills to increase their resilience and overcome the barriers that they face. This is our winning recipe for nourishing the potential of young people at Café Social.

Support from our Community is what keeps us going – whether it is stopping in for a coffee and one of our house-baked treats, purchasing our inhouse tea blends crafted by young people, paying it forward with a love voucher or choosing us to cater your next function. Not only does our food taste great – but it feels amazing! Every bit of support allows us to live our mission -
