First Nations Youth to Co-Lead Reconciliation at Project Youth

The Role

We’re looking for two incredible young First Nations people to join our Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) Working Group at Project Youth. This is a paid, Identified Role (SCHADS Level 2 casual) designed to elevate your voice and make sure our work reflects the values, culture, and priorities of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people.

The Main Responsibilities

What’s Involved?

🖤 Attend 8 meetings per year

🖤 Help shape reconciliation actions and cultural events

🖤 Work with Project Youth staff and community members

🖤 Receive cultural mentoring, training, and support

🖤 Co-design your role based on your interests and strengths


You don’t need formal experience.

If you’re proud of your culture, open to learning, and passionate about making things better for mob and young people doing it tough we want to hear from you. This role is about lifting up your voice and creating space for self-determination, truth, and healing.
