How you can help
It's okay to feel uncertain, but here are some ways you can help.
It is hard to watch the events taking place around the world at the moment. From the floods in Australia to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. The news at the moment can feel overwhelming and difficult to absorb. As with many people around the world Project Youth want to share a thought for all those affected.
It can be hard to know how to help, so please see below for some resources / organisations to donate to. This is not an exhaustive list and there are many organisations trying to help.
Also please be mindful to
- switch off the news and take a break - it can take a toll on your mental health and well being
- get your news from reputable sources - some social media posts have been found to be fake and asking for money etc.
Ukraine:
- How can Australians help the people of Ukraine?
- Donate to UNICEF’s Ukraine Appeal
- Support independent media on the ground by giving to the Kyiv Independent
