We’re looking for an outgoing and energetic person to work with young people in local high schools. 28 hours per week, Maternity leave position commencing 21st October 2019 - until June 2020. You will be required to run group work activities for identified at risk students, case manage young people, and develop relationships to expand our service delivery options. This position also supports the St George Region Fit for Life and Island time programs.
Experience developing, implementing and running programs essential. Experience working with schools highly regarded.
28 hours per week, to be worked flexibly between 6.00am and 8.00pm.

Project Youth is currently looking for male mentors for our Muscle Up/Fit for Life boys fitness program.
The program will run across both Sutherland and St George areas...join one program or join them both!! Programs runs from 7am-8.15am on Weds (Sutherland) and Tues (St George).
Project Youth works in partnership with local police and PCYC to provide assistance and support to young people at risk. The aim of the program is to increase positive relationships between young people and available support services, and increase positive behaviours and school attendance by the young participants.
Muscle Up/Fit for Life has a strong focus on fitness and encouraging the boys to positively engage in their community.
Our mentors are an integral part of this program. Volunteers who participate in this program are expected to participate in the fitness alongside the young people to encourage them to participate to the best of their potential and also ensure each young person is well supported throughout the program whilst also making the fitness enjoyable!!
