We have a very exciting role for a passionate and committed person who would love to work as part of a dedicated team of professionals and assist young people to be housed safely while working on their goals in one of our crisis refuges.

About the Role
This role provides safe, consistent, and trauma-informed support to young people aged 16–24 living in our youth refuges. You'll work collaboratively with young people, their significant relationships, and external services to build the practical and emotional skills needed for greater independence — ensuring their experience of homelessness is brief and not repeated.
Each day brings something different. You might be conducting a trauma-informed assessment and developing a support plan, responding to a crisis with calm and care, or helping a young person learn practical life skills like budgeting or cooking. You'll advocate across systems to connect young people with education, employment, and housing opportunities, while collaborating with schools, families, and community services to strengthen wraparound support. Throughout it all, you'll create a safe, respectful, and empowering environment that promotes stability, wellbeing, and hope for the future.
Key Responsibilities
· Build positive, professional relationships with young people in the refuge.
· Support daily living routines and promote a stable, respectful shared environment.
· Respond appropriately to crises, ensuring safety and wellbeing.
· Conduct trauma-informed assessments and develop individual support plans.
· Support young people to access education, employment, and sustainable housing.
· Provide guidance in life skills, wellbeing, and tenancy management.
· Maintain accurate records, case notes, and reports.
· Collaborate with internal and external partners to deliver wraparound support.
· Contribute to a reflective, trauma-informed, and learning-oriented team culture.
