Administration and Marketing Support Worker
The Role
The position will assist in building and enhancing Project Youths social media presences, including interacting with young people and stakeholders, promoting focused interactive and engaging content, and expanding opportunities for revenue and community education. You will work with team members to create innovative social media campaigns.
The duties are many and varied (and fun!) and include -
Maintain day to day administrative support services in an effective and efficient manner to support the operations of the organisation including:
Updating the website and intranet
Implement and maintain online collaborative working spaces

Create marketing and social media campaigns and strategies, including content ideation, and implementation schedules
Grow and expand Project Youths social media presence into new social media platforms, plus increases presence on existing platforms including Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Instagramg and social media campaigns and strategies, including content ideation, and implementation schedules

The Main Responsibilities
The Person
Essential criteria:
- Qualifications in Communications or Marketing or equivalent,
- One to Two Years of Experience with Social Media Management, Marketing Experience, Content Creation, Copywriting, Graphic Design, Web Design and Strategy, Data Collection and Analysis, Technology Skills
- Strong Verbal and Written Communication Skills,
- Attention to Detail, Self-Motivated, Creative Problem-Solving Skills
- Experience with Major Social Media Platforms
- Proven ability to maintain and build effective relationships both internally and externally
- Excellent computer and literacy skills
- Able to demonstrate forward thinking and using initiative to improve systems and processes
- Thorough understanding of the issues that impact young people facing disadvantage
- Able to engage and communicate with young people facing disadvantage, including being able to understand need and refer internally to the most appropriate program/team
- Self-starter with the ability to juggle a number of assignments at the same time, to react quickly, to meet deadlines, to organise a busy workload and to prioritise tasks
Desirable criteria:
- Experience working in a youth related field and/or not for profit sector
- Experience implementing improved administration systems and functions
- Experience of using and analysing data
- Experience of using a website Content Management System (Duda or similar)
- Experience of liaising with external agencies and stakeholders
- Use of online collaborative working spaces
- Experience in social media strategy
